A Memorable Favorite Place Positive: Immaculately clean. Comfortable & beautiful furnishings. Lovely & thoughtful interior design. Very good kitchen/laundry areas & multiple work space options, a desk, dining table, & adjustable stand up desk, all much appreciated. Big backyard with historic wooden stable and covered patio furniture. Neighborhood is the UNM university area, big mix of students, professionals, homeless. Lively, although not big city busy, still has local neighborhood feel. Safe walking distance to many different desirable businesses, food, coffee, grocery store nearby, food coop not too far, close to public transit. Best neighbors (house next door keeps several cool kitties in the yard & looking out the house windows keeping watch over the passersby-as though patrolling the exterior in their cat fashion) appreciated that. Top tier communication & service from host start to finish. A best experience in the area out of many stays. Negative: The neighborhood is has great neighbors & a (wide) variety of different people walking the sidewalks directly in front of the house. I did see homeless people walking past daily mixed with many other types. This did not disturb me in the slightest, although others might be alarmed by it. There are also many students, young professionals, families, & neighbors of all ages walking about & active in the neighborhood. So it’s important to note this element. Has more of a city feel to it for sure. Not necessarily a bad thing, just making others reading this review aware.

We were in town for the Balloon Fiesta and loved having this place to call home for the week. In a great location close to Park and Ride options, good food, and proximity to other things to do in town, we loved our stay here!

Cute and close To UNM

All around, loved it. We will stay here again when we visit my brother in law next spring. If you have a dog, the backyard is perfect. Beds are comfortable, and it was clean!

Pros: Our family enjoyed our one-night stay. The house is charming, well-decorated and updated! And the location was perfect. Cons: Check-in wasn’t the smoothest, as instructions were sent via email instead of through the VRBO app, which I didn’t expect and resulted in me needing to message twice before check-in to get the door code because I didn’t see the email. The house could’ve been cleaner in some areas, and laundry wasn’t done when we arrived so we had to finish it.
